So much for keeping up with posting. Maybe I'll get started up again now.
In an earlier post, I mentioned getting tickets to go to the Imagine Dragons concert. Well that was last night. One of the best nights ever. We had to wait TWO HOURS for them to actually come out on stage. And the two other bands that played during those two hours were not my favorite (at all....ugh). But once Imagine Dragons finally came out....it was definitely worth it! To be surrounded by that many people (so much sweat!) with everyone dancing and singing along to every song was surreal. The band created a really amazing atmosphere with a lot of positive energy! That is why I love them so much...they have clean, positive lyrics and such a unique and creative sound. And they are so passionate about what they do. I LOVED it. It was beyond lovely.
Now I want to go to one of their concerts every week. But then this one wouldn't be as special...so I will just be grateful for the opportunity and the memories. And hope that I'll get to go again someday in the future!
Yes...in the left picture that is Dan Reynolds (lead vocalist) playing a large drum while dangling in the air. He later dropped down right above the crowd below....I'm sure those lucky souls got a nice shower...of his sweat. Ew.
